The full and effective participation of relevant stakeholders, in particular indigenous peoples and local communities, in REDD+ actions

Cancun Safeguard D, in the context of Viet Nam, means that adequate mechanisms to ensure the full and effective participation of all relevant stakeholders (in particular of ethnic minorities and local communities) are to be developed and implemented during the preparation of the National REDD+ Programme and Provincial REDD+ Action Plans, and throughout the implementation of the proposed REDD+ policies and measures contained therein.
